Public Contacts

I just upgraded from Office 2K to Office 2K3. I have public folders that have contacts in them. How can I get those contacts to show up in my contacts. I do not want to copy, just link to them. In Outlook 2000, I just created an icon on the lefthand toolbar. PLease help. Thanks
