Public Documents Site Permissions

Is there a way to remove access to the public documents site, but not
physically remove it?
Specifically, I created a group and category called "Customers" for our
customers. I am only letting customers see their own projects. I do want
them to have access to the documentation of their project, but I don't want
them to have access to our own internal documents that are available in the
Public Documents site.

Is this possible? How?

Thanks

John,

Assuming your an administrator for your system, navigate to the public documents site, select site settings from the top menu bar, select "manage users", check the box next to all users you want remove permissions for and click "remove selected users". You may find that none of your "customers" group has permissions there anyway, in which case you'd need to do nothing to further restrict them from access this folder.
