Public documents sites

Hi,
reposting as had no replys....

Anyone have any suggestions on this, would really appreciate any
help...aven't a clue myself!

I have used the edit site utility to create 3 instances of project server on
a box.
The sites are as follows:
Site1
Site2
Site3
Each site has it's own public documents site as follows
Site1_MS_ProjectServer_PublicDocuments
Site2_MS_ProjectServer_PublicDocuments
Site3_MS_ProjectServer_PublicDocuments

My problem is that when I click on
Admin-->Manage Windows Sharepoint Services-->Manage sharePoint Sites
there is no url in the public documents Site address??

If I publish a project and click to create an associated site the operation
appears to complete but the url listed in the site address is "null/site1_101"

The actual site is created

E,

Try this for each site...
example: Site1
Lets suppose the machine name is xyz
Project Server URL is http://xyx/site1 *Please confirm

If yes then Login to PWA as administrator
Admin > Manage Windows SharePoint Services

Don't make any changes and click on save changes

If changes are successfull

Then
Admin > Server Configuration

At the bottom of this page you will see

Enter the intranet and/or extranet addresses of Project Server
Enter the project server information and click on save changes this should
update all the information in manage sharepoint url.

Let me know.

Hi Gaurav,

Thanks so much for the suggestion, I gave it a try but no joy i'm afraid :(
any other ideas?
It's strange that the public documents site is created just it's address
doesn't appear in manage sharepoint sites

Again many thanks for your assistance...

I have managed to overcome the problem

I deleted the sites and recreated them..they had no content so it was no
problem
I'm still not sure what caused it as I had tried deleting last week and
recreating them to no avail. I'm glad to have it sorted but still unsure as
to what caused it. It's just another of those anomalies to add to my list of
Project Server quirks

Thanks for your assistance
