Question. If a user copies or moves an email to a public folder, do they
retain a copy of the email in their inbox or inbox folder structure?

Well, since, 'copy' and 'move' are two completely different things, I'll
answer this as accurately as possible:

Yes. No.

It's the same as the OS.

If you copy a file, you make a new copy of the file.

If you move a file, you do not.
