I have a user that when she sets up a new appointment in a public folder
calendar and invites others, everyone that is invited gets an e-mail invite
but not her. She states she used to get it in the past and I can see the
invites she's declined in her Deleted Items folder so I'm inclined to agree
with her (that's her way of keeping track that the invites went out).
I've ran tests on other public folder calendars and the same one all with
the same result and that is that others get the invites via e-mail but I do
not. The best that I've been able to accomplish is to send invite to myself
in addition to already being the instigator of the invite and it asks me
immediately upon sending if I want to update my personal calendar which is
not what the user claims happens, she gets an e-mail just like all the other
invitees.
Is there a special way to setup a calendar to do this that might have been
changed? Sorry if this seems a bit of a simple question, I am the network
admin. here but I rarely do anything with calendars or public folders (they
aren't used that much and we rarely, if ever have a problem with them).
Thanks in advance!!
