Public Folder Contacts not showing under contacts

In OL2003 by adding my public folder of contacts
into "favourites" it then appears on "contacts" group
which allows use of different views easily. My prob is
that on my computer the folder shows for only short time
then dissapears but is ok on all other computers. Cannot
drag it back & have uninstalled/reinstalled office to no
avail. Can delete from favourites, reboot & then add back
to favourites only to repeat the cycle??
