Public Folders- Shared Address Book

Email Client: Exchange

We have been running a Public Shared Folder Calendar and Office Contacts folder for three months. However this week we have tried to organise our shared address book contacts into categories. We have assigned each contact within a category and all appears well. However when Entourage is opened again and the address book accessed, using the search through categories option the contacts are unassigned to any category and have no "None" category. We all have permission to edit and update the Public Folders, I am at a loss as how to resolve this problem.

Any help or advice will be well received. Thanks

Entourage does not recognize Outlook categories and will not sync them
to an Exchange Server so that other Entourage users can see them.

You cannot permanently assign categories to items in public folders
unless you first add those folders to your Public Folder Favorites
folder and assign categories there.

Hope this helps!
