Public journaling Outlook 2003

How we set up public journaling for 2003? the contact
group is set up in the public folder space, but how do
you set the default to go in the public journal space not
in the individuals default journal???thanks!

Thank you very much - I found this on your website earlier and it works well. The next question is how do I get to display the activities? In my personal contacts, I see all activities, on the global shared contacts, I cannot see any activities - the activities tab gives a response of "new folder group". We would like to be able to see/share all history pertaining to a contact

Does outlook 2003 allow us to do that? Can we set up the contact file as a personal folder that is owned by two people

You must configure activity group(s) on the contacts folder to show the folder(s) you want displayed on the Activities tab.

At the risk of being dense, when I go to activities, properties and it give me "new folders group", then I add the journal, notes, tasks, etc as a new group - I don't get all the activities listed? I'm sure it is simple and really appreciate your help, but could you spell it out for me

Were those folders in your mailbox that you added to the activity group? Do you have items in your mailbox folders that are linked to a contact in the public folder? You realize, I hope, that only you will be able to see those activities.

Is this correct
1. If the contact is in a personal folder that only one person can view all the activities (journal, notes, emails, etc.) for those contacts in that file? Even if the folder is "owned" by two (or more) people
2. If the contacts are in a global folder, then only one activity (like a journal) can be viewed by any owner of the file
We certainly would like to view/edit/add to all contact information with several people - is there a work around in 2003, or another option
