Publish All Information button

We recently selected the Publish All Information button on a new
version of a previously imported project plan. This plan had tasks
that had been worked on previously, with team members logging actual
hours against some of the tasks. After publication, some team
members could see all their tasks in PWA and others could not. We
selected one of the resources that could not see all of his tasks,
republished his assignments, and the previously missing tasks showed
up in PWA as new tasks. Has anyone else run into this? We are
planning to republish all assignments one resource at a time because
we don't trust the Publish All Information button...

When you import a project containing actuals on completed tasks and
in-progress tasks and after you have clicked Collaborate - Publish - All
Information, you must still click Collaborate - Pubish - Republish
Assignments, select the "Overwrite actual work entered by resources" option,
and then click OK. This "pushes" the actuals for the completed tasks and
in-progress tasks from the project plan to each user's timesheet. This is
by design and is not an bug in the software. Hope this helps.
