Publish Attachment

Hi All,
I would like to publish a form to SharePoint (WSS 3) and when I select an
attachment field (from the form), I get an error message.
Is it possible to achieve this task?

What type error message did you get. Can you plese give error message text?

The error is: "The selected field cannot be promoted because its data type
is not supported: base64Bunary"

Any thoughts?

Hi,

Remove the field from the promoted fields list in Infopath and then try to
publish it.

The thing is that I want this Attachment field to appear in the form library
attributes.
Is it possible? Any bypass?

Hi,

If you promote the attachment to sharepoint, it will not show the correct
text in the promoted list.
If you want to display the attachedt document in sharepoint site, you can do

Thanks Anuma,
When downloading the package below, i see that the content of the ZIP file
is Visual studio files which I realy not familiar with. There is no
exe/setup/msi so I could test it?

Hi,

In view options change the “SharepointURL†path to your sharepoint fiolder
path. Then open the manifest in design mode and preview the form. In this way
you can test that form. Other wise double click on the manifest to verify the
form.
