I installed FrontPage 2003 on a new laptop last year and am ready to publish
a backed up web into it. I will use from inside FP the window that lets me
move from the My Web Sites folder over to my external drive, select my
previous web, open it into FrontPage and then travel back and publish it
into C:\Documents and Settings\myname\My Documents\My Web Sites\the backed
up web...
The backedup web I'm working with is already in a folder with the world
icon. But there is already a folder like that already where I'm headed...(My
Documents\My Web Sites\mysite). I could have created it last year while I
was 'practicing' but I don't remember. Shouldn't the inside of a new
FrontPage area be completely clean?
Can I just delete the 'mysite' folder with the world icon (it has nothing
in it), and the other folders there? or is there a more careful way to
clean out this space?
Or do I rename the live folder already there with the name of my backed up
web name before I publish back to C:\...?
