Publish multiple assignment

Hello,

We are using Project Server with a good quantity of projects to manage
at the same time. To manage all the cross-link between projects, we
created a Master Project.

So in the case that our Master Project contains about 20 projects all
interlinked, as soon as we change the first project duration, the 19
others are also modified and we need to republish all Assignment for
all of them.

We have tried to use the View Populator tool from Microsoft but it only
publish the project plan without the Assignment modifications.

Except for opening all 20 projects and manually publish New & Changed
assignment, what would be the best way to handle this issue and make it
faster to update assignments?

Thanks for your help.

Dale,

We have read your FAQ (by the way, it's an excellent source of
information!!! Thank you!) and we have tried the WorkSpace procedure.
But still, we need to manually publish the 20 files one by one.

We are also aware of the danger of publishing Master Project and for
that reason, we only use it to manage the links between them.

Any other though?

Thanks,

Eric

You have tapped my knowledge on this subject. Use the Workspace to open all
20 of the projects, but you will still need to publish each one
individually. Hope this helps.
