Is it possible to publish a selected page from a local disk based multi page
web into a new remote server based sub web? and if so, how?

Avoid using Selective Publishing unless you have already published the page and the only thing you
are change is text that is physically on the page, as not external content is upload or updated on
the remote site. Basically FP is give you an easy way to just copy a file, which is the same have a
local web and a remote web open and then copying between them.

Hi,

This feature is available in FrontPage 2002 and 2003 only.
In folder list -> right click on the page -> Publish seleceted page.
It will show you remove website properties on the screen.
In destination web give address for your new subweb. and publish it.
let me know if it works for you.

Regards,

I used this method but came up short of the desired result in that my page
had includes, pics, and css which of course did not upload with the page.
This did however, create a new subweb on the server which I published back
down to a blank local web on my hard drive. Thanks for your help.
