Publish template from Infopath to Sharepoint

Hi

I have tried to install The Microsoft Office Reference Implementation for
Clinical Forms
I followed the all steps as mentioned in the document, but finally when i
tried to fill out a form i am getting following errors from Infopath

When i try to access from a client :

1. This form is associated with a URN-based form template, which cannot be
found on your computer.

When i try to access from server.

1. The updated form template urn is xxxx but it should be yyyyy
2. If i upload my own template, then the error is template form is not
trusted (though i have used regform tool and made it as trusted form).

I am stuck up at this point

The following are the steps I have followed to publish from Infopath
1. Open the XSN in design mode
2. Published the Form to Sharepoint overwriting an existing form template
3. Extract the files
4. Open template.xml in a standard text editor(notepad)
5. Remove href attribute from mso-InfopathSolution attribute
6. Changed the name attribute as specified
7. Changed the solution version
8. Copied the template xml to froms folder in Sharepoint
9. Changed the template extension from XSN to XML

Is there any thing i have missed out in the process, please let me know

Thanks in advance
Ujwal.

Ujwal,

I'm not familiar with the particular instructions that you're following, but
I think the problem you're running into is at step 6. Here you're changing
the 'name' value, which is also the template URN. Both errors you're seeing
happen when the URN is not correct. Can you verify that the URN was entered
correctly? It also helps to know whether the URN you changed it to was xxxx
or yyyy in the error message you describe below.

Hi Lee,

Thanks for your reply,

Microsoft in the implemetation guide has asked to change the URN. The new
URN is also provided by microsoft only.

Anymore clues or ideas..

You mentioned that you used Regform. Did you run the MSI (or .js) on the
client machine where the error is occurring? Even if that was the case, it
doesn't explain why it's broken on the server machine.

I was able to look up the documentation for the Implementation for Clinical
Forms, but I don't see the exact steps that you were following within there.
The important thing to know is that if you run older versions of RegForm
without specifying a URN, a random GUID based URN will be created for you.
This may be part of the mismatch. I could possibly help you some more if
you were able to give me the exact text of what you specify as 'xxxx' and
'yyyyy' below.
