Publish to Blogger from Word 2007

Has anyone been able to register their Blogger account using the
Publish to Blog feature in Word 2007?

I keep getting a message saying "Word cannot register your account".

If I enter an invalid username and password I get a different message -
"Word is unable to complete this action because your Google account is
locked. To unlock your account, press the More Information button
below." So it looks like i'm being authenticated OK.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the upgrade that Blogger
performed a few weeks ago.
