Published form not appearing in WSS

I am testing forms publishing from Infopath using the sample forms.
The process all seems to go well with no errors but when I check the
document libraries in the relevant sites the published forms are not
there??

FYI

I am domain admin and have setup my own user as site owner?

XP Client BTW

Greg, I have tried several folders but I started with the top level
folders, I have tried letting infopath create new Form libraaries
rather than overwriting but the publised forms just don;t show up at
all - ever??

Is there a filestore on the sever I can check or even a binary field in
the SQL server I am not sure how WSS stored these objects at present.

I know, seems very strange? I just expected them to appear after a
rfresh, I can upload the forms if I save them first from Infopath it's
just the publishing that doesn't work. The weird thing is having no
error messages.
