I've recently been given the responsibility of maintaining our companies
website -with absolutely no FrontPage (2003) training. With some help from
the Q&As on this wonderful site, I've managed to figure out how to update the
files on my local site and have just published the changes. However, I find
that one of my changes did not actually get published. I've replaced the
file (PDF) in the original folder on my computer and reopened the site with
FP, gone into the Remote Website Properties screen, clicked on the specific
pdf and then the Right Arrow in the middle to publish to the remote site on
the right. [Note, after doing this, the file on the remote side still shows
the status as Unchanged.] Then I click the Publish Web site button (Local to
Remote, all pages with changes). It appears to be doing it, but when I view
the website, it's still the old PDF. What am I doing wrong? I've tried
again and again, and have even resaved the original PDF so that the date is
newer, but it's still not working. Help!
