I have been using publisher for years to make dozens websites and am
disappointed with the performance of versions 2002 onwards (including 2003).
I find that after inserting images into these versions and publishing to the
web (or even web preview) images are blurred, in that they do not retain the
same crispness or clarity. (we are NOT talking major distortion, however it
is noticeable) - They look fine while in publisher; but blurred when in IE.
Publisher 2000 doesn’t do this, and actually publishes the same crisp image
that you insert on the page. Is there any particular reason for this, or any
way that I can overcome it? - I have tried inserting different images, on
various layers and even compressing using the new tool in 2003-SP1
Any help would be much appreciated; one day I would actually like to move
off 2000
