Publisher 2000 and PDF

I have a link to a pdf file that is in a sub folder. When you click on the
link it seems like the file wants to open but only opens when you click GO on
the IE toolbar which would normally take you to some address, in this case
the file that I want to open.

I think this used to work before I updated adobe reader to the newer version.

Any thoughts?

I just download my pdf files into my main folder... not a subfolder.

Opens in acrobat 4,5,6 and 7

The Hyperlink path should look like this

/subfolder/file.pdf

Change the names to the subfolder and file to what they are.

The address you give brings up a 404 error.

Your "Printable Menu" link should read

/PDF/menu.pdf

The folder PDF needs to be in uppercase and reside on the server in the same
area as the html files.
And of course the file menu.pdf needs to reside inside the folder PDF.

Don;

Just moved that pdf file over to a different hosting service and it works
fine, must be something with freespces.com that's causing the problem.
