PUBLISHER 2000 application does not open

When I try opening Publisher 2000 (running Windows2000 pro), it will only
open if I place the Office 2000 sr-1 disk #2 into drive D. I have
un-intalled the entire office 2000 suite, and re-installed both disks. No
apparent problems occur until trying to open Publisher or Clip Art without
disk 2 inserted in drive D. Running Office Updates from the Microsoft site
shows no problems with my installed system. When I was running Win98se,
Office 2000 and Publisher2000 worked 100% fine.
Any suggestions?
Thx, chip618

Hi Chip,

Are you running any Office XP or 2003 series apps?

If you run a repair of Publisher 2000 does the behavior change?

Are you using more than one login/profile?

Do you have some of the clipart set to be used from the CD?

Thx for your reply, Bob--
I am running Microsoft Small Business Office 2000, using only one
login/profile.
Also, Clip art, and anything to do with Publisher are set to run on local
machine.
Unfortunately, running a repair (both within Publisher Application, and with
a new re-install from the CD), does not resolve the problem.
Any other ideas?
