Publisher 2000: Not enough memory for graphics and embedded objec.

I just put in a new hard drive and reloaded Publisher 2000. Since then even
when I open a previous publication, I get the message that there is not
enough memory to load graphics embedded objects. I have turned off all the
items listed in Office Assistant, but still cannot get it to load my entire
publication. Any ideas?
