Publisher 2002-vs-Frontpage 2003

Hi David!

I have been using Publisher 2002 since it's been out and
love it, but have been considering trying FrontPage 2003.

Can you tell me if FrontPage is relatively easy in format
and "user friendliness" as Publisher?

I really am interested in taking the plunge, but don't
want to feel like I am having to learn all over again. I'm
hoping that knowing Publisher pretty well will transcend
to knowing Frontpage???

Also, is Frontpage relatively easy to send to the servers
as I lack in this general area.

FP is totally different then Pub. Kinda like comparing PowerPoint with Word.

If you are familiar with some html and html concepts all you'd need to learn
is the program. Otherise it'll all be foreign to you. Nothing you are
comfortable with in Pub will be of use in FP.

Both programs use the same functionality. File menu and publish. Publisher
actually uses FrontPages server extensions.

With FrontPage you can publish with HTTP or with FTP. You click on File-->
Publish Web
and it walks you through a simple wizard. The next time you publish it's
even easier as some fields will be pre-populated. You'll need your username
& password to publish. FrontPage knows where to put all the files. It only
takes a few seconds to run the wizard, then the upload (publishing) is as
fast as your Internet connection. Once you're setup it's File--> Publish
Web--> password--> Next--> Next--> Kick back and wait for it to finish

I'd recommend reading a basic HTML book or getting a simple FrontPage book
like "FrontPage Simplified" to walk you through some basic stuff.

Front Page 2003 is much easier to use and more powerful

in my opinion. Take the plunge and if you need help feel
