Publisher 2002

I am trying to make coupons with running numbers so I make two index card
style publications and the number will populate automatically similar to a
catalog merge. Any suggestions as to how I can set that up with publisher
2002?

Are you using the Index Card that is in Page setup? If you are, there will be
one card on your screen. Create your content, merge your numbers.
You can use any data base, Excel, Access, a Word list and so on.
I have an example of consecutive numbers here, it is Excel, but it is about the
