Publisher 2003 Can I print a booklet w/color cover and black insid

My printer is a bizhub C350 and it can print color and black in one documnent
and track for cost purposes by page. I have an 11 x 17 bound booklet pages
1-12.

I need to know how to set the color to black on page 3 - 10.
1, 2, 11, 12 would be 4color.

I cannot set the graphics to greyscale. They would be counted as color.
Can anyone help?

Paula, when in Publisher, go to the pages you want in black and white. Righ
click on anything that was in color, such as a jpg picture. Go to "Format
Picture.." and then in the "Picture" Tab, select "Recolor" in the middle of
the page. If you see the diagonal lines, it will print in color. So, click
on the down arrow to the right of the diagonal lines and select the black to
the far right. Then, select apply, ok and ok. You'll do that to all
pictures on those pages. For any text, simply select the font color on the
upper menu bar at the right side and select black. One hint: Color pictures
converted to black and white are sometimes muddy. You might want to right
click on them, then "save as" put them on your desktop, then open them with
microsoft picture manager and go to edit, color, remove the saturation, then
click on edit again and play with the brightness and contrast. Don't forget
to use the midtone slider at the bottom of that toolbox! Best regards,
