The ability to edit text boxes within the publication pages, but created in
the Master Pages, would be a great service to this product. I try to support
Microsoft products, but because of this issue, I will be switching to Adobe
products for my publishing needs.
Also, I inquired the Assistant about this issue and in one section it stated
that Text Boxes can be used in the Master Pages, but after reading several
pages, the Assistant states: "if you add empty text boxes on a master page,
you can't insert text into them on publication pages that use that master
page. But, you can create layout guides on the master page that you can use
to determine where to create text boxes on the publication page." Why not
replace 'Text Boxes' with 'Text' since a text box is useless without text?
'Text Boxes' simply communicates the wrong message.
