Publisher 2003 not making text link to htm file

We are creating a website in Publisher 2003 and have uploaded it the
web. Upon looking at the code, it is commenting out and not the new
text links, while
linking properly to the images that have the same links. We are using
two links to the same page for the ease of the user. I have done all
my websites by hand up till now so know html, but the CSS code is also
embedded in the publisher file and is a bit much to look in....the
text we want is in comment codes. Do you know why Publisher is
deciding to comment out
text links we want but allow image file links?

I am not talking about the color of the hyperlink, but the fact that
the link
of the text section itself is not working.

Here is the example:

Robert,

I don't write HTML code, and thus am not sure what you mean by "commenting
out". Perhaps Rob or Mike will understand...

However, when I load your page with IE6, the first three Publications I see
listed, loaded a small image with an active, relative link, and the "more
details..." textual links (absolute links) also work for me. The last two
publications starting with "Cast the Jewel into the Sea of your Soul" do not
have an image and the textual links do not work, but perhaps you just
haven't inserted the link or image yet. Are these the links you are talking
about? Also all your navbar/main menu links also seem to work, side and
bottom.

Which links are you having problems with specifically.

Because Publisher lives in a world of it's own when it comes to html...and
you will go blind if you try to figure it out.
REmember it is primarily a dtp program, and probably should never have been
allowed to create websites...except perhaps for very simple ones for limited
audience (IE).

Your text hyperlinks in the middle are being converted to an image, not
so much commented out. This is in Mozilla. As David says, they work in IE.

You might try taking the bullet out of the line with the link and
instead inserting an image of a bullet beside it - I'm not sure.
