I have had several occasions where I have saved a newsletter that I was doing
drop font letters. I had saved using the embed fonts and use subsets. When I
open the publication for more editing, many characters are missing. They are
common ones and were used in the publication before saving. An example was
the letter Q. It would show in lowercase and not in caps. This is with
Publisher 2003.
The font used was not always the same one and even changing the font on a
paragraph with missing characters did not re-establish the fonts.
If I save using embed fonts but NOT using a subset, it appears that I am not
going to experience a problem. Sort of "cold sweat' provoking when I am near
a publishing date and have to re-do the newletter by using a new/fresh
format and then copy items into the new one from the old.
Thanks in advance,
Hank
