Publisher 2003

I just purchased an HP Officejet 6310 All in one printer and find I can no
longer print gift card envelopes because HP does not support 3rd party
(Publisher) and all envelope sizes. HP tech support suggested contacting
Microsoft for a patch to take care of this problem. Can anyone help me with
this issue? My officejet G55 printed any envelope and custom size I wanted.

According to the manual that came with your printer you can print something as
small as 3 x 5. What size are your envelopes? Could be a workaround.

Hi Mary, The inviitation envelopes are 4 3/8 x 5 3/4 I tried so many
different custom sizes and it wouldn't work when I put the envelope in but it
would when I used a sheet of paper. I get a message about a mismatch.

Have you tried the 4 x 6 index/post card setting and fudging the margins? Create
a rectangle in your publication 4.375 x 5.75 and type everything within these
confines. When you are finished, delete the rectangle. Will this work?

p. s. Be sure the rectangle is positioned in the upper left hand corner, I think
this is the way printers print.

Mary, I will give this a try. Sorry to take so long to get back to you but
I tore a ligament in my leg so I just got back from the hospital. This
