Publisher 2007 and printer conflict

I am very familiar with Publisher; used it since it first came out.
Now I have 2007, and it's been fine until today.
I have a document on 8 1/2 x 11 landscape. It is a greeting card,
so it is divided into four with guidelines, and I have something in each
quarter. There is a 1/2" all the way around, but when I tell it to print, it
prints the two right hand quarters off the page.
My printer is an HP C5180 all in one printer-scanner-copier. I
have the print set to print landscape, and I have tried both "print actual
size" and "scale to paper." I never used those for any reason before, but I
thought it might help, but it's still printing the right hand margins off the
page.
Also, on the FIRST print preview screen the document margins are
correct, so I click on print, and another preview comes up which shows the
printing running off the page, so obviously, after wasting 4 sheets of
expensive paper, I stopped it at that point. Does anyone have any
suggestions for this problem?

This is a follow up to the note below, because I did some more trouble
shooting:
I found that the printer problem was because I had line-boxes
around two of the quarters mentionedbelow, and the picture in the lower right
side had a beveled age from PhotoShop as a kind of "border." Once I removed
all the boxes and border, it printed fine. Anyone know what to do about this?

If you have four quarters, each quarter must have a .5 margin. Easiest way to do
this:

Arrange, .5 margins all around,

grid guide, 2 rows, 2 columns, 1 inch spacing.

Is this a folded greeting card? If you use the side fold card ( 5.5 x 4.25)
template on page setup it should turn out okay.

Mary, thanks for your help. I had always done just as you said, until I got
a printer that prints to the edge of the paper. I have printed this card
many times with no problem...the photo quarter of it printed to the edges,
but the rest printed normally, but this time I added a text box and changed
the picture to reflect Autumn and beveled the photo edges in PhotoShop, but
the picture is located the same on the page. But for some reason, the
printer is reading it differently. I'm thinking I have a printer problem,
not a Publisher problem?

Thanks again. Maggie

The borderless printing can be troublesome. Some printers ignore borderless
unless you specify photo paper. With mine, I simply create everything without
the folds, select all, save as a picture and print it in my printer's software.

Great suggestion! Thanks. This will be my next attempt, and it sounds like
it will work. Maggie
