Publisher 2007 compatible with Lotus Notes

Jaymie

I am considering purchasing Publisher 2007 for its email capabilites
(newsletters, etc). However, we use Lotus Notes as our email program.

Can you only use Outlook our Outlook Express email to send out Publisher
campaigns or is it also compatible with Lotus Notes?

a) Publisher can ONLY be used with Outlook and Outlook Express (NOT
Lotus Notes)
b) Publisher isn't a tool to purchase especially for creating e-mails,
as this is not its primary purpose.

Thank you for your reply Ed.

We create a monthly newsletter that we print. I love the features of
Publisher for other printing projects, but also like the bonus of sending
emails (no more than 200). We are a small business so that feature would be
an added bonus for our customer who opted-in to receiving such email
notifications.

I am sooo bummed. We are trying to do this in-house since it is a small
undertaking, really. I viewed the demo Microsoft has online and it's exactly
as I need. Maybe I can persuade my IT guy to switch me over to Outlook
Express...

Thank you JoAnn. I guess I could also save as a pdf and send as an
attachment.
I like the jpg idea. I really want this program since it seems so user
friendly. Alot of features.

This forum is awesome. Thanks for all your help.

You could create the publication in Publisher, save it as a .jpg and then
insert that in your Lotus Notes email.
