Publisher 2007 crashes on save

I developed a 32-page website for a non-profit group using Publisher 2002 SP3
on my old laptop (now my childrens' computer). I have a new laptop (same
brand as old one) and I upgraded to MS Office 2007. I can open and work on
the website using Publisher 2007, but I everytime I try to save it, (both
"save" and "save as"), it crashes! For the past 5 months, I've have to use
my childrens' computer to update the website! There has to be a better
way... upgraded hardware & software were supposed to enhance my performance,
not stifle it!

The good news is that MS just changed the way you produce the html in Pub
2003. Pub 2007 is much the same. Instead of Save As, you will Publish to the
Web in 2007, and the other good news is that the code is improved over 2002.

Though it is talking about Pub 2003, the relevant change for 2002 is your
issue.

Pub 2007 already has the compress graphics feature in the picture tool bar.
Use it and your site will load more quickly.
