When I send a newsletter out through Outlook my newsletter looks like all the
letters are sort of fuzzyand if I have a text block filled in red the block
has a haze around the word. I have tried changing the fonts and used
different fill in colors, but my newsletter still looks horrible.

Any suggestions?

Chances are the reason the text has become "fuzzy" is that it was converted
to an image. Try to select the fuzzy text and you will see it is an image.

Go to tools > Options > Web tab and under Email options uncheck the option
to send as an image.

If that doesn't fix the problem, reference: Tips and troubleshooting for
sending a publication page as an e-mail message (2003):

Though this is for Pub 2003 it provides more information than MSFT provides
for 2007. Consider the formatting tips in trouble shooting your publication.
