I created an "Under Construction" page for my corporate website using
Publisher 2007. All of the images and text were created using Publisher 2007
with the exception of our corporate logo, which is in JPEG format. I
uploaded my website through my host, GoDaddy.com. I uploaded the index.html
file as well as the index_files with no success. I also compressed the
graphic which is 21KB with no success. The Design Checker indicated that the
dpi of my image is too low (92dpi) as compared to the standard 96dpi. I
don't think that the dpi will affect whether or not the image is displayed on
the web. My dilemma is that I have tried everything including changing the
file's format to .giff, .tiff and .png. I properly inserted the logo and
everything. I am completely at a lost. Any suggestions would be greatly
appreciated. I have used IE 8 Beta and the AOL Browser to view my webpage
and the displays are the same. I know absolutely nothing about "scripting"
an image. Is this process necessary for my corporate logo to display
correctly?
