publisher 2007 trouble

after using publisher 2007 a week, when opening an already made file or a new
file all buttons kinda were locked, i dont know how to remove that or what to
do. i cant do anything then, no text editing or picture editing, please
someone help....

Wish I could help but I'm not exactly sure what's happening. Maybe you could
explain what you mean by locked, what steps you do and what happens when you
try to add a text box or edit an existing one.
