Every time I start publisher 2002, it starts fine but as
soon as you try to open a existing document OR start a new
one it gives you the worthless message that publisher has
to close and is restarted, which of course is a loop. Now
we know Microsoft make some of the buggiest stuff out
there but the error message (nor the report sent to
Microsoft) give any information on what could cause this.
I have tried repair, that fails, I have uninstalled
Publisher and reinstalled it, that failed, I tried the TWO
service packs, that failed, so now I am going to uninstall
Office XP, and publisher, spend a great deal of time
editing the registry to remove references, as well as hunt
dow all the stuff the uninstall does not remove then try a
re-install. So anyone out there have an explenation or fix
for this? You would think that several DOZEN errors sent
to Microsoft might get someone's attention but I guess
they are to busy to support there own software.
