Publisher document to PDF

After converting a Publisher document to PDF I cannot then open that
Publisher document again.
A message comes up with "Publisher cannot open the file"
Can anybody help me with an answer?
I am using Publisher 2007

There is a hotfix that addresses publications not opening.

I am using Publisher 2007

To open in publisher you must save as a publisher file, you can save a
second file as a pdf but this one will only open with Adobe reader so any
files you have not saved as a publisher file must be opened with Adobe reader
Then - I THINK if you open with adobe reader select it then copy and paste
it into a publisher document and SAVE AS A PUBLISHER DOCUMENT you are back
where you started.
