Publisher equivalent for Mac

I'm a PC user, who's getting ready to switch to Mac. As of now, I'm fairly
clueless about the Mac software world, and I'm having trouble determining
what to buy to replace the functionality of Publisher, which isn't available
in the Mac Office suite. Any suggestions? Any advice will be greatly
appreciated!!

It may depend upon which functionality you precisely need,
but I'd say AppleWorks (provided with most Apple machines)
does about everything Publisher does (and much more).

Thanks so much, Bernard! After looking at the site you listed, I've no doubt
that AppleWorks will take care of everything I've been using Publisher for.
While it seems to lack the business-oriented pre-matched template design
sets of Publisher, it seems that AppleWorks offers much greater flexibility
instead. I appreciate the information!!
