Publisher Error shuts down program

When I try to print and do some other things in Publisher
2000 I get the error message "The intsructions
at "0x77f57ec4" referenced memory at "0x00000000" The
memory could not be written. Click OK to terminate the
program"
Does anyone have any suggestions or solution to this
problem?

The articles I have read on this error point to a
corrupt or outdated printer driver. If you uninstall
all printer drivers and download and install a clean
current driver from the website of your printer mfg.
it should solve the problem.
