Publisher freezes up when using clip art and photoshop

Hello,

I am a technician at a high school and I have a teacher that uses publisher
2002 on her computers. The Publisher is freezing up or locking up when her
students uses publisher 2002 when using clip art or photoshop. What could be
the problem in this? I have re-installed and ran updates and still freezes
up? What else can i do?
any helpful ideas would be appreciated? Thanks.

Are you getting your clipart pictures online? Is there an error message?
Empty your Internet temporary cache, in Internet Explorer, tools, Internet
Options, delete files.

Have you compacted the Organizer? Start, Microsoft Office Tools, Microsoft Clip
Organizer. When the the Organizer opens, tools, compact.

We are getting clip from the publisher and importing pictures from photoshop.
I'll try to do what you suggested and see if this helps, thanks for replying
