Microsoft Publisher is failing on file open
with "Invalid Page Fault in Kernel32.dll" in Windows 98
environment. Reviewed Knowledge Base Article 159314 which
indicates Publisher has a known addressing problem
resulting in this error; it my have surfaced as a result
of my recent installation of an new flat panel monitor. I
tried the described workaround involving module
msvcrt40.dll with no success. Subsequently, working
through Dell support I tried the Office 2000 repair
procedure and scanreg /restore procedure. Neither of
these worked and they referred me to you at Microsoft. Is
this a known bug with Publisher 2000 and how can I resolve
this on my system. I need to use Publisher for my
business asap. Thanks.
