Publisher Newsletters will not load

Every time I open MS Publisher, click on the newsletter tab and click on a
newsletter template, Plublisher shuts off and restarts. Every time I receive
a publisher file from some one and try to open it, publisher shuts down. Has
anyone had this problem before? Can anyone help me with this issue?

What version Publisher?

Have you tried detect & repair in the Help menu or Office diagnostics if you are
using 2007. Do you have Norton anti-virus software?

Just with the newsletter template if I open publisher from start, But if I
try to open a flyer that was sent to me it does the same as if I were trying
to open a newsletter template.

Do other templates cause the same problem?

2003, I have not tried anything... Yes I have Norton Internet Security. I'm a
little bit computer knowlegeable, enough to get me into trouble and enough to
get me half way out of trouble.

Did you disable the Office Plug-in in Norton? Did it help?
