Publisher not loading speller or Dictionary

Each time I open up Microsoft Publisher 2002..Well it is when I open up a
saved job..As soon as I click in the text box to change it I get the message:

Publisher cannot load speller or dictionary
To insstall the spell checker and hyphenation dictionary Run Publisher set
up again and choose custom installation. For information on running set up
press F1

This just started happening one day. I did not change anything. Any ideas
why? Or how can I correct this.

I pressed the F1 key and follwed the instructions..but it is still doing the
same thing.

I did a install and I also tried..the option of "fixing Publisher" and it is
still doing it. Very annnoying when you start in full force typing and have
to stop to click a box away.

This will probably correct the issue even though it is Word specific, Publisher and
Word share the same dictionary.
You receive an error message when you add a word to the custom dictionary in Word
2003

um..ok..well thanks anyway..but rather than just using the space to type that
ya coulda offered a solution then too.

Hi Mary,

Thanks for the reply.. But I want to be sure before I start changing things
I am not familiar with.. I am nto having an issue adding words into the
dictionary or spell checker.. This block appears up when I am just typing in
text intot a text block. It only happens once.. and when I click the OK
button after it pops up it does not come up again.

Just as soon as I click my cursor into the block it pops up.

Do what the article suggests. It is the custom dictionary that makes the whole
dictionary unusable.
