I just bought Office 2008 for my new Mac and assumed it had Publisher on it,
but it seems as if it has been replaced with Entourage. I need Publisher for a
professional synthesis course to create newsletters and flyers. How do I get
this for a MacBook?
Hi,
Microsoft Publisher is not sold to Mac users. It only works on Microsoft
Windows.
Word 2008 has a new view called Publishing Layout view. From the menu choose
View > Publishing Layout. Word is very powerful and may meet your
publishing needs.
If you need to use Microsoft Publisher, then you¹ll need to install
Microsoft Publisher. There are 3 ways to do it on a Mac:
Parallels (Requires Windows plus Microsoft Publisher)
VMWare (Requires Windows plus Microsoft Publisher)
Crossover (does not require windows, requires Microsoft Publlisher)
I know that Parallels can run Publisher, I¹m pretty sure Vmware can do it,
but you would have to check the specs for Crossover.
