Publisher Use with Monster E-commerce Storefront

I have built pages in publisher and uploaded the HTML into Monster E-Commerce
but I can't get the images to show. I have uploaded the images into my
Monster storage area and renamed the HTML image information to match the
image files store on monster but no luck. HELP!

I have no experience with Monster E-Commerce, but thought it provided
shopping carts and such, and didn't understand it to host websites.

Are you trying to use the shopping carts on your site, or upload your site
to some sort of Monster hosting?? service?

Generally you will upload the index.htm file and the index_files folder
produced when you Publish to the Web to a web host space...what are you
trying to do?

Taking a stab in the dark here, but perhaps Monster wants all the files
in one folder, such as Mike's site. The OP said she had changed the
links, but I doubt that, unless she is a wizard at opening a pub
generated html file in an editor such as Notepad and changing all the links.

Having had a look at their site, anyone who is rich enough to pay
$50/mo. and then ask why uploading a Pub file won't work needs more help
than I can provide. Monster is (IMHO) a scam, much like WebSite Pros -
charge an arm and a leg to do something that should cost about a piece
of fingernail.

You know me - I don't want to pass up the chance to promote a program I
like, but take a look at this:

It's done with WP and osCommerce (the latter being a free program that
might be able to be auto-installed). The only fee is what Susan's web
host charges, probably about $6/mo.

Thanks....could be. If the OP wants all the html files in one folder, then
you can opt not to use a subfolder to contain the supporting graphics and
any additional web pages. Go to Tools > Options > Web tab and uncheck
"Organize supporting files in a folder". You then do not get the index_files
subfolder. All the files are "loose".

Thanks for the link to the sample site using both WP and osCommerce. It
sounds like if one has both the desire and the ability to set it up,
osCommerce could be a viable alternative to PayPal and Monster. Not being
familiar with it, I googled it and it sounded pretty interesting.

Actually, osCommerce can be auto installed by Fanstatico and similar
programs. That site was done using an i-frame for the commerce part.

If I were to go with a non-windows server, I think I would sign up with one
that does offer Fanstatico. From what I have read about it, it sure makes
like easier.
