Publisher v. Epson 3000 printer

Want to reprint 100 yr old newsletter.

How can I get Publisher '03 to print edge to edge on 17.25" x 23" paper in
Epson 3000 printer?

The paper tray holds 17.25" x 24" paper.

I have printed on 16 x 24 paper, and the printer driver allows for 17 x 42"
image.

My problem is that it won't print the full 17" across. The right edge
prints fine, but it cuts off the left edge of text. It won't print text
wider than 16".

Read the manual. You can't. That printer will only handle 17 x 22 paper,
unless you use a roll, and it will only do 11 x 17 full bleed.

It's going to go back to being a printer issue, not Publisher. I'd suggest
asking Epson for additional help but since that printer was introduced 7½
yrs ago, you may not get a response. (I got the data I listed from Epson's
website. I am not familiar with that printer.)

What version Publisher are you using? Have you printed something this large
through Publisher in the past?

According to the specs, the maximum printable width is 16 inches, regardless of
the paper size or feeder you use.

I used
http://www.epson.com/cmc_upload/0/000/026/061/StylusColor3000Brochure.pdf

It states:
"Large printable area for true 11" x 17" full bleed comps and more
.. Full bleed 11" x 17" layouts
.. 16" x 20" portraits
.. 44" banners and signs
.. Oversized package comps up to 17" x 44," with no cutting and pasting
necessary!"

I assumed (dangerous, I know) that if it could do full bleed even larger, it
would have stated so.

Thanks for the Epson link.

It says full bleed on 11 x 17, but that could easily be done oriented 11"
wide by 17" long.

It says my left margin should be .13", but I'm getting at least a full inch
of blank on my left margin.

I'll look for help from Epson.

Thanks much

Epson really is the best source of info on this issue but since the printer
is so old, you may not get much satisfaction.
