Publishing a pivot table on the web

O

Oslopelle

I have a huge spreadsheet containing all work hours, overtime
calculations, sick days, pay and so on for all my employees for the
whole year. I would like to publish a portion of that file on a web
page so that all my employees can be updated about changes in work
times at all times and check their paid hours and overtime.

The portion I would like to publish is containing work hours pr day
and a calculated field that show total worked hours pr month, planned
hours that month, extra paid hours and the time acccount for each of
my employees.
Either the emplyees should be able to log on to the page and then see
their respective hours ( I have never constructed a web-page in my
life! so this is probably well over my skill level), or the emplyees
never log on to anything but comes straight to a page with a degree of
pivot functionality, so they can choose their name from a drop down
menue in a filter field and then see their hours. Preferably they
should NOT be able to alter any of the other formatting on the page,
add, or even see, other fields in the pivot table based on other raw
data, such as pay pr hour for other employees.

Additionaly I would like to publish a calculated field containing
their hours worked pr month, their planned hours pr month, the
difference between them and number of hours paid to them.

To do this only with calculations and not with pivot tables is very
hard, since the raw data is very large, well over 25000 lines.

I will post a sample of the file in my new google group titeled excel
frustration so you can see what I'm trying to create.

Please help!!
