Publishing an update to aol member site

Some years ago I built a site with Publisher 97 and uploaded (FTP) to my aol
space. I recently wanted to change the background. I edited the file with
Word 2003, saved the file and tried to upload to the member site. I failed.
Asking AOL 9 tech help was told to ask microsoft.
Can anyone tell me how to take the file and upload it to my AOL member site
as an upgrade?

Thanks

I'd suggest starting with AOL's tech support. It's their site and they know
"how to" better than most of us. (I used to have AOL and I used to have an
AOL site but I used FrontPage with a bit of manual tweaking. It was plain
ole' HTML.)

Uploading a Publisher website to AOL is the same as uploading from any other
application to AOL.

(Why and how are you editing the file with Word?)

The only people who can tell you the information you need to be able to
upload to AOL is AOL themselves.

Unfortunately good teech support at AOL is virtually impossible to get hold
of.

Thanks for your input. I had the same idea about AOL, but I don't want to do
the whole site over.
I'll get to them again.

I used word for the background edit because when I pulled the file up in
publisher editing with word was an option!

It's a bit like mixing your drinks when you're out partying - it's *never* a
good idea. That's the stuff hangovers are made of. (Yes, this is the voice
of experience.)
