Publishing and File Time Stamps.

K

Keith Richards

Quite often - not always - when I publish a recently changed file I get a
bogus message that the file has been updated on such and such a time PRIOR
to my published change. Am I sure I want to overwrite etc..

Why would I get a warning about overwriting a file that was changed at a
previous moment in time (maybe weeks, or months or even hours)?

Thank you.

sometimes the server's time is out of sync with the time where you are.
sometimes things just get weirded out.
I get these messages once in a while, I tend to ignore them.
