Publishing and retrieving information from a _private folder

Mark M Simonian

I am collecting information from forms in Frontpage 2003. It saves to a
database and can be seen in an asp file. If I search for a word in the title
it shows up in the search results - not good. I want to hide the results
from the regular search form.

I thought if I move the forms results like myresults.asp to a _private
folder it would become invisible to the search. Unfortunately I cannot see
the results form myresults.asp by looking
http://www.mywebsite.org/_private/myresults.asp

How do I look up my results to see the results form if I put it in a
protected _folder?

What happen if you remove the title, etc from "myresults.asp"

In thing that you place in the private folder can only be viewed by opening
the site direct in FP, then look at the page.

The following depends on your host, Store the database outside the root of
your web, then use a System DSN to connect to the database, then create
subweb for any admin pages.
