Publishing - Can't access web site on remote server

Allan

Hello all. After publishing our site to a remote server, we were working on
the local copy when a power outage occurred. When power came back up the
local copy was no longer present. We are left with a fully functional copy
on the remote server, and I need to download it back to the local PC so we
can do updates...then publish them in the usual way.

When we try to "Open Site..." from the "File" menu we ask for
www.oursite.com and get this error: "The file name, location or format
'www.oursite.com' is not valid. Type the file name and location in the
correct format, such as c:\location\filename."

When we try to "Open Site..." and ask for http://www.outsite.com (just
adding 'http://') we get this error: "The folder 'http://www.oursite.com/'
isn't accessible. The folder may be located in an unavailable location,
protected with a password, or the file name contains '/' or '\'." The site
is password protected, but FP never asks for the password.

How can we access the remote site? We can open other remote sites from the
"File" menu, but not this one.

Thanks for any ideas.

The folder "http://Website" isn't accessible. The folder may be located on
an unavailable volume or protected with a password.
